Vacancies & Salary Details
IUAC invites applications; for Total vacancies: 3 with 2 types of job categories:
- Stenographer: (Group-C, Level-4): 01 Post (UR)
- Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): (Group-C, Level-1): 01 UR & 01 SC
The Pay scales are as per the 7th Central Pay Commission:
- Stenographer: You’ll be in Level-4, with a pay band of ₹25000 – ₹81,000.
- MTS: You’ll be in Level-1, with a pay band of ₹18000 – ₹56,900.
And, That’s basic pay! You will also receive Allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA) and other benefits.

- For stenographer:
- Essential: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with a minimum speed of 80 wpm in shorthand and 40 wpm in typing.
- Desirable: 3 years experience as Stenographer in University/Govt./Autonomous Body/reputed Pvt. Firm. Experience in computer operating/Data logging.
- For Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):
- Essential: Matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent.
- Desirable: 10+2 (12th pass) or equivalent and with knowledge of computer operations. And ability to read and write in English.

Roles & Responsibilities

- For stenographer:
- You’ll be responsible for taking dictations, typing official documents, managing, computer data entry, and providing secretariat support.
- For Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):
- The MTS posts may be utilized as staff car driving, house-keeping, photocopiers, security, office works, attendant work or being a dispatch rider.
